ClearView is a web-based application which facilitates and simplifies the management
of business continuity management (BCM) processes within organisations.
In the event of any emergency, you need to be sure that key personnel all have a
clear set of actions to be followed with all the necessary contacts and information
they will require. This information must be up to date and easily accessible. Out
dated business continuity plans can be dangerous, but keeping them up to date is
a challenging ongoing chore for most organisations. No sooner are they written than
they begin to drift out of date – and it can be difficult to get all departments
and users to periodically update them without significant input of time and effort!
ClearView provides an excellent solution to this issue, facilitating the storage
and regular maintenance of crisis management plans and procedures, co-ordinating
input from contributors to action plans across the enterprise.
It was originally developed in conjunction with Alliance & Leicester, in 2003,
who felt that BCM software available at the time was over complex, inflexible and

It was developed by Bis-Web Ltd, a British software company, whose customers include

and County Councils.
